Dr. Hagemann utilizes her 9 years of medical training and nearly decade of experience with thousands of patients to bring you and your family the highest level of care and advocacy.

Colleen Hagemann, M.D., graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge and then Louisiana State University with a degree in biological Sciences. Dr. Hagemann pursued a career in medicine, obtaining her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she went on to complete both an Adult Psychiatry residency and subsequently a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. Dr. Hagemann is boarded in both adult psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. In addition, she obtained extensive training and certification in LSU's renown Harris Infant Mental Health Program led by one of the nation's foremost experts in the field, Joy Osofsky, PhD. After completing fellowship and residency she had the privilege to work over the last several years diagnosing and treating over two thousand patients in and around the New Orleans area in a National Health Service Corps psychiatric practice.
Dr. Hagemann’s treatment involves a thorough initial diagnostic evaluation followed by proven state of the art treatments for patients ranging in age from preschool to adult. Her specialization includes Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety Disorders, Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Behavior Disorders, Schizophrenia and many others. Her treatment includes safe and effective evidence based therapeutic techniques including medication management when necessary.
